In april last year BTM got the contract for the supply of 12 generatorsets. Sets are intended for one of the biggest landbased oil fields in the world in the northeast of kazakhstan. The assignment was to BTM provided by its expertise in the development of generatorsets for the oil and gas industry and its servicegerichtheid. In the original contract of 12 containerised generatorsets extended with a 13th set: A skid mounted set. the sets are divided into five parts of the onshore oilfield and vary in capacity of 125 to 3250 kva.
The first two generatorsets have built up, ready for the factory acceptance test (fat). this month, two sets of transport. in the course of this year, the gradual acceptance of the other generatorsets place.
Unique project by the unusual size for BTM is a unique project. BTM usually produces one or two generatorsets per contract and the supply of 13 sets of special mention. A dedicated team is more than one and a half years full-time engaged in designing, building and assembling of the sets. Each generatorset is equipped with a fire starter batteries, and gasblussysteem, a ventilatiepakket, a fuel tank and a fin fan cooler (water / glycol heat exchanger). Specifically for this mission's own BTM software written by the besturingspanelen turn. Each unit has a control panel generatorset and each part of the oilfield an overarching master control panel. in addition, the fat, the software and the hardware tested at full power. So we know that the acceptance sets to meet the requirements of the client. Environmental factors and complex planning not only the project size makes it unique. Also by the environmental factors and the complex production schedule is a particular project. The temperatures in kazakhstan vary from - 40 to + 50 degrees celsius. This raised high demands on the engineering and material. Roel jansen, project manager topec: "Our engineers for the enclosures and skids ltcs (low temperature carbon steel) is used, which is not easily available. We have to let this special steel rolling and processing in the skids and enclosures. " The production schedule is complex and challenging the unusual size and the phased and various oplevermomenten. In topec departments work together to continuously optimize the planning so as to meet the deadlines of the customer.
Roel jansen: "it is a special and challenging project. This contract will BTM again that it is able to fully develop generatorsets according to comprehensive and strict klantspecificaties. "

Three heading companies to work for one project BTM, pon power as (norway) and baker sliedrecht work together to kazachstanproject. BTM builds the generatorsets, with cargo to the oilfield in kazakhstan are far out. This cargo ships. in total 23 units are specially designed by a norwegian shipyard for freight on shallow rivers. Pon power as (norway) provides the generatorsets provide the energy for the diesel electric propulsion of ships. Every ship is equipped with three c32 pon power design and a low profile generatorsets c4.4 emergency generatorset. Baker sliedrecht builds the unit control panels and master control panels.
